French snail
The tradition that Europeans like to eat snails originated in ancient Rome. The use of snails by Europeans can be traced back to the 4th century, that is, the late Roman Empire. At that time, the Romans already knew how to artificially raise snails with vegetables and leaves, fatten them up, fry them, and then dip them in the juice soaked in fish. The French carry forward this delicious food, and there are many ways to make snail dishes: French baked snails, onion fried snails, stewed snails, court fried snails and so on. It is said that you can eat more than 300 million snails a year.
Paella
Paella, the English name of paella, originated from Valencia, the capital of fish and rice in Spain, and is a kind of rice food with Spanish rice as raw material. In fact, it is a flat-bottomed shallow-mouthed big round double-ear pot, usually less than five centimeters deep. There is a saying about the origin of this delicious food: Columbus was hit by a hurricane while sailing and fled to an island. The local people saved his life with seafood chowder. After the Spanish king knew about it, another chef copied it, and it became a national dish from then on! Authentic paella includes a large number of shrimps, crabs, black clams, clams, oysters, squid and precious spice saffron.
spaghetti
Compared with the above two kinds of food, spaghetti is far more popular and more affordable in China. As for the origin of spaghetti, some people say that it originated in ancient Rome, while others say that Kelpolo spread to Europe from China via Sicily. There are two sauces for pasta: red sauce and white sauce. Red sauce is based on tomato, and white sauce is based on flour, milk and cream. The most authentic spaghetti gives people in China the impression that it is not cooked well enough, and it feels a bit hard to bite.
