One of them is the case of illegal occupation of basic farmland by cherry orchard, a double island in Lushunkou District, Dalian, which was investigated and dealt with by Liaoning Province.

The details stated by the Ministry of Land and Resources in the circular are as follows: In May 2006, Deng contracted 147 mu of cultivated land in Zhangjia Village, Lushunkou District, Dalian. Then, in the name of building double island cherry orchard facility agriculture, it illegally occupied 22.92 mu of basic farmland to build 165 villa for external sales.

In the end, cherry orchard suffered the result that the illegal buildings were demolished within a time limit, the land resumed farming, and a fine of twice the land reclamation fee was imposed.

A person in charge of a farm with a more low-key behavior told reporters that for them, not only dare to engage in two-story buildings, but even if there is no owner to grow vegetables and flowers in the greenhouse of the farm, they will replant.
