Tour Guide
Wuhan Jiufeng Forest Zoo is built in Jiufeng National Forest Park, which is located in the new center of Guanggu, with convenient transportation. Covering an area of 800 acres, with more than 8,000 square meters of wildlife cages, the park's forest coverage reaches more than 85%, similar to a "natural oxygen bar". There are animal kindergartens, tiger parks, lion parks, wolf parks, bear parks, small panda halls, alpaca halls, zebra halls, bird forests and other more than 10 animal ecological viewing areas.
There are many areas for animals to interact intimately, such as the Pigeon Square, Peacock Garden, Swan Lake, and Herbivore Area. You can be the keeper yourself, feed them, take pictures and feel the harmony between humans and animals.
The park has an indoor Dream Theater with a capacity of 2,000, an outdoor Animal Parade Showroom with a capacity of 4,000, and a Small Forest Theater with a capacity of nearly 1,000. Visitors are impressed by the wonderful animal behavior performances at the three venues.
After years of tourism development and construction, it has been awarded a number of honorary titles such as Hubei Provincial Science Education Base, Hubei Provincial Ecological Civilization Education Base, and Hubei Provincial Ecological Moral Education Base for Minors.
Since its opening in 2004, the park has become a comprehensive tourist attraction integrating animal viewing, breeding, scientific research, forest play, amusement and catering, with an annual reception capacity of more than 500,000 people, and has been awarded as the designated reception unit of Wuhan science and education tour by the Municipal Tourism Bureau. It is the ideal place for people to go out for leisure, traveling and sightseeing during festivals.
