The planning and construction of these projects are progressing rapidly, and some road sections have started construction. The second batch of intercity railway projects are also actively promoting the preliminary work, including the connection line from Beijing City Sub-center to Beijing Railway Station.
At present, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Intercity Railway Investment Company has begun to study the planning of the tie line between Beijing Sub-central Station and Beijing Station, and it is expected that some lines between the two stations will go underground. After the completion, it will not only benefit the passenger flow between the central city and the city sub-center, but also facilitate the passengers from Langfang, Tangshan and Tianjin to get on and off at Beijing Railway Station.
