Jiangsu Engineering Vocational and Technical College, located in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, is an ordinary institution of higher learning organized by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. It is a national model vocational college, a construction unit of high-level vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province, and was selected as a high-level vocational school with China characteristics and a professional construction plan.

The predecessor of the school can be traced back to Nantong Textile Printing and Dyeing Institute, which was founded in 19 12. 19 1928 was renamed Nantong Textile College and merged into Nantong University to establish the Textile Department, which was later called the Textile Department of Nantong College. 1952, when the departments of colleges and universities in China were adjusted, the Textile Department moved to Shanghai; 1957 Nantong Textile Enterprise Textile College resumed classes at the original site.

1979 was renamed Nantong Textile Industry School in Jiangsu Province, and 1999 was upgraded to Nantong Textile Vocational and Technical College. On June 20/0/4, kloc was approved by the people's government of Jiangsu Province and reported to the Ministry of Education for the record, and was renamed Jiangsu Engineering Vocational and Technical College.
