Precautions
If it is your first time to go skiing in a ski resort, then don't be in a hurry. First of all, we need to find a flat snowy area with no slopes where there are fewer people. With the help of snowball fights, we need to do standing and squatting movements back and forth to get used to the size and feel of the snowboard.
The eight-brake method, this method can effectively brake the movement and control the speed, which is very necessary for beginners. When practicing on a flat surface, you can use a "jumping" motion to practice the figure-eight motion across the front of the snowboard. When walking in the snow, everyone must take turns lifting and dropping the snowboard. If you dabble in the snow, you will inevitably have difficulty moving and can easily fall and get hurt.
Methods and positions for falling
This is the most important thing that beginners need to learn, because if the fall is not done properly, it can certainly have very serious consequences. The correct way to do it is to keep your legs together and fall to one side. Because the front and back of the snowboard will be longer, falling back and forth is definitely dangerous. So falling to one side will maximize the protection of the skier and maximize the protection of the skier's knees.
