Original title: Some renovation projects in our province will no longer go through the EIA procedures
Lanzhou News (reporter Yan Chunli from Gansu Economic Daily, New Gansu) On April 21th, the reporter learned from the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment that some renovation projects in our province will no longer go through the EIA procedures.
According to reports, there is no need to submit an environmental assessment document for the renovation project in our province that has legal procedures, does not involve new land, the nature, scale and production technology of the project have not changed significantly, and does not increase the types and emissions of pollutants. Enterprises and construction units will organize their own environmental impact analysis and demonstration before the project starts construction, disclose relevant environmental information, and make a written commitment to the ecological and environmental department and incorporate it into daily supervision. If it is necessary to apply for a sewage permit, it shall go through the formalities for changing the sewage permit in time. In addition, construction projects that are not listed in the Catalogue of Classified Management of Environmental Impact Assessment of Construction Projects (except emerging industrial projects with greater environmental impact or environmental risk) are not included in the environmental impact assessment management, and there is no need to provide any EIA approval procedures.
