Senior, I think it's really not cost-effective to go to graduate school in China. If you really want to go to graduate school, it's good to go abroad.
If you just work in the hotel industry, it's ok to graduate from the undergraduate course, but if you don't have relevant work experience, you may still need to start from the basic department of operation, and it will be advantageous to be promoted to a certain position with higher education; If you want to work in hotel administration or industry research, it will be better to go to graduate school, and it is recommended that you have internship opportunities rather than pure theory, which will help you develop in the future.
However, in China, if you take a postgraduate course in hotel management, it is generally tourism management, and all of them focus on theoretical aspects. Therefore, taking a postgraduate course is basically just an extra high degree and a little more stepping stone for your future employment. Hotel management still depends on more experience.
If you really want to go to graduate school, you can go abroad for further study. America, Switzerland and France are all very good. Many people say that it is better to go abroad for further study while you are young. For example, Switzerland, which has the best hotel management, is close to Germany, France and Italy. Students studying in Switzerland have the opportunity and conditions to experience the human geography of various developed countries. Young people have the conditions and energy to try and see the world accumulate capital. Not everyone can give up the original environment and make great changes when they go abroad with work experience.
In fact, I think it's better to spend the same time looking for internships and more work experience, especially in some big hotels or even foreign hotels, instead of spending a lot of practice studying things related to the postgraduate entrance examination.
These are all my personal opinions. You should consider the details by yourself. It is definitely better to have a high degree of education if you are promoted, but the cost performance of hotel management in China is not very high. It is better to go abroad.
