Zheng, the capital of Henan Province for short, is located in the south of North China Plain, north of central Henan Province and downstream of the Yellow River. It is bordered by the Yellow River in the north, Songshan Mountain in the west and the vast Huanghuai Plain in the southeast.

Henan cuisine is the local cuisine of Zhengzhou. For example, "baked noodles with crucian carp", "cockfighting" and "Four Treasures and One Set" are all local representatives of Henan cuisine. The famous Henan cuisine restaurants in Zhengzhou include Henan Hotel and Yushunlou Hotel.

Zhengzhou people are mainly pasta, including steamed buns, pancakes and stir-fried dishes. Zhengzhou is known as the "city of Huizhou noodles", and Huizhou noodles are all over the streets of Zhengzhou. With "Hutchison" mutton Huimian Noodles as the leader, Huimian Noodles, the three major cuisines in Xiaoji, has sprung up suddenly and developed rapidly in the past 20 years, becoming the city name card of Zhengzhou catering.
