KFC, with its global headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky, United States, is a world-renowned chicken restaurant chain that sells high-calorie fast food products such as fried chicken, burgers, fries, covered meals, tarts, and sodas.

Created in 1952 by founder Mr. Colonel Harland Sanders, KFC is part of Yum! Brands. KFC has been in China for 30 years, since it opened its first Chinese restaurant in 1987 at Qianmen, Beijing.

In 1939, Colonel Harlan Sanders formulated a secret recipe for fried chicken with 11 seasonings in his Corbin, Kentucky, restaurant. 1952, Colonel Harlan Sanders created the Original Chicken Franchise. In 1952, Col. Harlan Sanders created the Original Fried Chicken franchise, and the beginnings of KFC began. 1987, KFC entered China and opened the country's first Western-style fast food restaurant chain in Qianmen, Beijing.
