Laishan Road in Yantai is empty. Lai shan, which belongs to Yantai City, Shandong Province, is located in the main urban area of Yantai City, bordering Muping District in the east and south, Fushan District in the southwest, Zhifu District in the northwest and the Yellow Sea in the northeast. It is between 121 19 ′ 25 ″-121 33 ′ 29 ″ east longitude and 37 17 ′ 51 ″-37 31 ′ 41 ″ north latitude, with the maximum distance of 15.9 km from east to west and 31 km from north to south, with a total area of 285.4 square kilometers, including 273.6 square kilometers of land, accounting for 95.6%. The water area is 11.8 square kilometers, accounting for 4.1%[1][25]. It has jurisdiction over six streets. According to the data of the seventh census, as of 1: 11 on October 1, 2121, the permanent population of lai shan was 389,494. Lai shan has a beautiful ecological environment, obvious temperate maritime climate characteristics, and organic integration of mountains, seas, islands, lakes, rivers, springs and forests, making it a summer resort for leisure tourism and vacation. There are shandong institute of business and technology, Yantai University, Binzhou Medical College, Institute of Coastal Zone of Chinese Academy of Sciences and many other colleges and universities. The first national intellectual property protection center in Shandong Province and the second national intellectual property protection center in China settled in Laishan, Yantai Nuclear Power R&D Center became the first innovation platform for the whole industrial chain of nuclear power industry in China, and Jerry Industrial Design Center was recognized as the only industrial design center in the field of oil and gas field equipment in China. It has successively won the honorary titles of National Science and Technology Progress Assessment Advanced Zone, National Compulsory Education Development Basic Balanced Zone, National Catering Service Food Safety Demonstration Zone and National Ocean Park.
