Recently, the third Huayang Xinjin Lotus Season was grandly opened in the Lotus Rhyme Scenic Area of Anxi Fishing Township. After a year's promotion, the ornamental area of the lotus pond reached 2111 mu this year, including 511 mu of core ornamental area and more than 31 kinds of lotus varieties. Through wrong planting and second opening, the whole lotus viewing period can last until the end of September.

In addition to the original tourist scenes in Xinxiang Village, such as Hanfu Ancient Boat Garden, balcony sightseeing, American food tasting, and cultural and creative products display, this year, the lotus pond will also add a variety of new ways of playing, and the first choice for lotus-themed micro-holidays in the suburbs of Chengdu has begun to take shape, with bluestone faces and pebbles at the bottom.

A ditch next to the lotus pond will be used as a free water recreation area for tourists. The water recreation area is 311 meters long and 5 meters wide, and natural water sources will be introduced. The design water depth is 11cm-31cm, and the deepest part reaches the position of adult calf.

This year, 1.6km of pedestrian greenway and 3km of greenway around the lake will be built in and around the Lotus Pond. Visitors can stroll through the lotus pond, get close to the lotus pond and feel the fun of enjoying the cool under the lotus.
