I've always yearned for Tianjing Gorge in Xigou, Minhe County, Qinghai Province, and for the wonderful mountains and beautiful waters there.
In a hiking activity in early September, we crossed the west from Nanyuan Village, Xigou Township, Minhe. On the way, I asked my eldest brother about the recent situation of Tianjing Gorge. He said that in order to protect the water source, the intersection of Minhe County and Tianjing Gorge was closed, so we could only look at it at the mouth of the gully. There is also a Hongshan Temple worth seeing. From that day on, I have been longing for the opportunity to visit Xigou Tianjing Gorge.
Finally, I waited until the National Day holiday. On the day of October 1, my child happened to be on duty in the silver unit and won't come back today. I encouraged my daughter-in-law to get up early in the morning, packed up her outdoor clothes and simply brought some food and drink. Go out of the house, take the No.816 bus to Minhe County, come to the bus stop of Minhe Old County, take the No.112 bus from Kawaguchi to Xigou in Minhe County, and embark on the journey to Xigou all the way.
Like the last bus to Qili Temple, the bus was filled with tourists visiting the county town in the countryside around Minhe County. There are Hui people, Tu people and compatriots of Tibetan minorities. Hui nationality, the big girl of Tu nationality who went back to her mother's house, and the little daughter-in-law wore colorful national costumes and various headdresses with gorgeous colors and exquisite patterns, which had a rare amorous feelings. In today's car, a Hui grandmother took a little grandson who was about one year old, and the children wore a small white hat of Hui compatriots, which was also very naive and lovely.
The bus carried us all the way south, passing through Bazhou Town, passing through the bifurcation road of Donggou Xigou and heading for Xigou in the south. Most of the passengers on the bus are villagers from nearby villages who went home after visiting the county seat, and got off from the passing villages one after another. As we approached the terminal of Hongshan Temple in Tianjing Xiakou, only the couple were left in the car. The bus finally arrived at the end, and the driver's master probably saw that we were foreigners coming for sightseeing. He specifically explained to us which way is more convenient to enter the mountain. He also said that there are many mushrooms in the mountain. If you know them, pick some. If you don't know them, don't pick them. The driver is afraid that we will pick poisonous mushrooms. The driver's master said that he could walk into the mountains, which is a good sign. I hope we can smoothly walk into the courtyard gorge that we have been longing for for for a long time.
Next to the parking lot is the well-known Hongshan Temple. It is said that it was once the royal temple of Tibetan Buddhism in the Qing Dynasty, and it was built by the court during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. It is also a historical witness that the court controlled ethnic minority areas through religion.
the temple really lives up to its reputation. Walking into the mountain gate, in the middle is the double main hall of the temple. A courtyard on the right side of the main hall caught my attention. On the plaque at the door, there are the words "Shang Academy". Walking into the quaint courtyard, the doors and windows of the house are all kinds of patterns carved by pine, including Buddhist stories, characters and religious patterns. I remember that during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, the royal family allocated special funds to expand the temple, and also sent an official at the level of Shangshu to the temple to supervise the temple construction project. This yard should be the place where Shangshu lived and worked here at that time. Asked the master of the temple, he said that this courtyard was built during the reign of Kangxi. Hongshan Temple has a large scale in history, and there are many subordinate temples. Today, it is also well preserved. The double halls should be rebuilt at the back, and the second hall should be dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva, which is filled with exquisite murals and paintings. The exquisite brick carvings of flowers, figures and animals outside the hall are also rare in the surrounding temples.
Walking out of the mountain gate of the temple, we walked along the road into the mountain towards the gorge. We were a little disappointed when we saw the bars of the gorge locked from a distance, and we felt that we could not enter the gorge today. However, we were still a little unwilling to give up, and walked quickly to the gorge. We found a small passage next to the fence door to enter, and we were ecstatic. The two quickly passed through the fence door and finally entered the courtyard gorge.
Walking along the path at the entrance of Tianjingxia, we can't bear the excitement and expectation. We walked all the way, admiring the beautiful scenery along the way with nostalgia. What is rare is that on the first day of October in the golden autumn, we walked into the courtyard gorge that we have been longing for for for a long time. There were only two people in the gorge, my wife and I, and almost no one else was seen, only the green hills on both sides. The green trees in the mountains were mixed with slowly turning yellow leaves, and the mottled and colorful colors were like watercolors. The cool stream in the gorge and valley danced with us all the way.
my wife and I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the courtyard gorge all the way, and walked along with the flowing water. We saw a house in front of us. We walked through the grove in front of the house, stepped on thick fallen leaves, and came to the house. There is no doubt that this is a forest protection station, where the forest guards live and work. The house is built on a platform, with mountains covered with lush trees behind it and streams flowing north from Tianjingxia in front. A big brother of the Hui people walked out of the house. At the first sound, he said that it was a wave. I said yes, we came from Haishiwan. I asked my eldest brother if he could go on, but he said he couldn't go ahead. Didn't you see there was a clip there? I looked forward along the direction of my eldest brother's finger, and there was a barbed wire fence on the front valley about 511 meters. We didn't give up. We walked down from the platform of the forest protection station to the edge of the valley. We clearly saw that the valley where the stream flowed down was covered with barbed wire. A sign was set up next to the barbed wire fence, which read: Minhe first-class water source protection zone is strictly forbidden for people and animals to enter. Seeing this sign, I knew in my heart that today's journey was over. The long-awaited Tianjingxia sight, the long-awaited Xigou Tianjingxia waterfall can only be seen in the pictures and texts sent by others before, and my regret and loss are indescribable. I still want to get into the gap below, but my wife dissuaded me and scolded me for not being conformal. Is that brand a decoration?
We lingered in the courtyard gorge of Xigou for a long time, and the surrounding scenery here is also very beautiful, just like landscape paintings, which can also comfort our feelings of regret and loss.
Small regrets during the trip are also worth remembering in the future. With this little regret, we only have to go back. We have been with the green hills and streams in Tianjing Gorge. We have been going down all the way, stopping and stopping, and seeing the scenery worthy of nostalgia, we stopped to take pictures and leave good memories. Finally, we saw the corner of the cornice of the carved beam of Hongshan Temple, and finally we reluctantly walked out of the courtyard gorge. Today, I didn't walk into the depths of Tianjing Gorge, and the landscape in the Gorge that I yearned for for for many days can only stay in the eternal yearning. We also have some complaints about the rangers, whose checkpoints have blocked our way forward. But another thought is that it is their obstruction that protects the long-term existence of the green mountains and green waters here, protects this rare clean water source for the surrounding people, and prevents people from disorderly developing and destroying the green mountains and flowing waters here. So from the heart, I still agree with their approach. Because I am also a staunch environmentalist. I have traveled a lot in the wild and seen too many flowers, trees, mountains and waters in the wild. I know that it is really not easy for these wild scenery with fragrant flowers in spring and green trees in summer to remain today. I'd rather keep them in the boudoir without anyone knowing them, than they disappear day by day in our disorderly trampling and development. Only in this way can our surroundings be always green and green, and we can get along with nature for a long time.
