It's fourth on the ALISTE list, but it's not even close to Thai or Vietnamese food. The reason for this is that pure Chinese food is hard for Westerners to accept. France released A LISTE, the world's first food ranking. Swiss restaurant Restaurant de'h? ? tel de ville? ranked first with 82.35 points, and American restaurant ? PER SE? ranked second with 82.3 points, and Japanese restaurant ? KYOA? ranked third with 82 points. The highest of the top 100 restaurants, Chinese restaurant, is ranked 42nd with 7,525 points, and only three countries/regions have more than 100 restaurants: 126 Japanese restaurants are ranked first. France with 118 restaurants ranked second,, and the United States with 101 restaurants ranked third. China was fourth in the total number of restaurants, with just 69, followed by Spain, Germany and Italy.

It can be said that Chinese food is much worse than Thai food and much worse than Vietnamese food in the eyes of Westerners. There are a lot of Chinese in the restaurant business abroad, but they are mainly targeting the Chinese, who have no ambition or awareness, so they take the Chinese route. Now Korea is engaged in Korean food culture abroad. Of course, Korean food is very unpalatable and crude in its methods, but it dares to advocate and suppress Chinese food. But while Chinese restaurants have opened and blossomed throughout the West, it should be noted that they have nowhere near the stature and reputation of French, Italian and Japanese restaurants.

From Marco Polo's descriptions to the missionaries, Westerners have long understood the difference between various Chinese foods and Western foods, but unfortunately the earliest and oldest experiences with Chinese food were introduced by early Chinese immigrants. Basically every owner of the earliest Chinese restaurants in the West was an immigrant around 1920, and Chinese food was smoky, poorly sanitized, and repeatedly scandalized in some countries. Many of the restaurants had lots of seasoning and lots of MSG, which is at odds with the lighter diet of the West.

About place settings, are there tablecloths for dining tables only? Is it cotton or chemical fiber, are the napkins and cutlery printed with the restaurant's logo, and are the tables and chairs mass-produced or custom-made. It's original or not will affect the state of the restaurant. Dining is just one aspect of the contrast between East and West. Now that China is more open to the world, its power is bringing the world closer to China. How do we make the positives of China better understood by others, and we still have a lot of room for improvement when it comes to China's goodwill.
