World Chef Day Program: In order to carry forward the Chinese culinary culture, promote the development of the catering industry, improve the level of chef's skills, and at the same time for the majority of food enthusiasts to provide a platform for demonstration and exchange, we are hereby organizing the Gourmet Cooking Competition and Top Ten Star Chef Selection Activity.
The participating chefs will complete their works within the stipulated time to show their cooking skills and characteristics. A food display area will be set up at the event site, where professional judges and public judges*** will score the entries together. The scoring criteria mainly include taste, color, shape, creativity, etc. Based on the comprehensive performance of the participants, 10 representative excellent chefs will be selected and awarded the honorary title of Top Ten Star Chef, as well as prizes and certificates.
A culinary experience area will be set up at the event site, where audiences can taste the entries and vote on-site. At the same time, well-known chefs will be invited to conduct on-site demonstration teaching, interact with the audience and teach cooking skills and experience. Through the online platform for publicity and voting, to attract more people to pay attention to and participate in the selection activities, the voting results will be used as one of the references for the on-site selection.

The participants are chefs engaged in the catering industry nationwide, including individual households, enterprises, hotels and so on. The conditions of participation are that each participant should prepare more than two dishes with his/her own characteristics, and the participants should arrive on time to complete the presentation of their works, which should be innovative and unique. The event was publicized mainly through various channels such as media, social platforms, SMS, posters, etc.; the content included the event theme, time, place, and the target participants, etc. The publicity time lasted from the launch of the event to one month before the event.
