I grew up for Hangzhou green proud, one is the river (Qianjiang) River (Grand Canal) Lake (West Lake) city, only the West Lake area is more than the city, Hangzhou people live in the garden water landscape.
But after a trip to Shenzhen, I will not be arrogant. Shenzhen is the upgraded version of the AD city - forest city. Greening dumped Hangzhou a few streets.
In order to answer the question, I found the "China Tourism Knowledge" website on the ranking of China's top ten best green cities: the first is Shenzhen; the second is Hangzhou; then Nanjing, Nanning, Zhuhai, Suzhou, Kunming, Guiyang, Changchun, Xiamen.
I've been to all of these cities that are ranked as the best green cities, and they live up to their name.
Looking at the rankings is a bit of a shame that Beijing and Shanghai didn't make the cut, and there is only 1 in the north.
