This is the content of the 13th Five-Year Plan on e-commerce.
On May 29th, Wang Shouwen, Vice Minister of Commerce, said at a regular news policy briefing in the State Council that the 13th Five-Year Plan for retail and e-commerce would be started, encouraging the reform of the traditional marketing model and accelerating the integration of online and offline development.
Wang Shouwen said that the Ministry of Commerce recently attached great importance to the construction of physical stores. Nowadays, online shopping is developing healthily and rapidly, which has affected the operation of physical stores to some extent. In this regard, in the past two years, the Ministry of Commerce has taken a series of positive measures to support the development of physical stores.
The Ministry of Commerce has also made great efforts to improve the statistical monitoring system for retail and e-commerce. In the next step, we will continue to increase the analysis of the sales situation of physical stores, give them guidance and support, and guide their transformation and upgrading.
first, strengthen planning. The Ministry of Commerce will start the preparation of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" for retail and e-commerce.
second, encourage the reform of the traditional marketing model. At present, many physical stores and department stores adopt the marketing method that owners do not deal in products and rent out their stores. We now encourage the reform of this model, for example, traditional stores should operate by themselves or join hands with merchants instead of just renting counters.
third, encourage the accelerated development of online and offline integration. Now, the Ministry of Commerce encourages these traditional stores to cooperate with online shop enterprises and e-commerce, for example, through the mode of online ordering and taking stores, to realize the transaction mode of 12O. Coupled with logistics and electronic payment, we feel that online and offline integration will give traditional physical stores some new development opportunities.
Wang Shouwen also said that the Ministry of Commerce will continue to encourage some traditional retail enterprises to carry out cross-border operations and comprehensive services. For example, convenience stores in the streets are very popular with the masses, but relying solely on selling goods may be more impacted by online stores. Let them operate across borders, engage in some catering or provide other services, which can help these traditional enterprises to better transform and develop.
I hope it works for you!
