Second General Meeting of Shantou Social Organization Association

On June 24th, 2114, Shantou Social Organization Association held the second general meeting of the first session in the conference hall on the second floor of Golden Bay Hotel, which was presided over by Comrade Jiang Wenzhong, vice president and secretary general. The meeting studied relevant matters, and the contents of the meeting are summarized as follows:

1. Comrade Hong Ruifeng, the executive vice president, summarized the work of the Federation since its first anniversary and put forward the work opinions for the new year. Vice President Hong pointed out that in the past year, the General Association of Municipal Social Organizations has been aiming at improving the service capacity and the level of organizing the meeting. In accordance with the regulations and requirements of hub-type and demonstration-type social organizations, it has carried out practical work in such aspects as paying close attention to internal construction, fulfilling social responsibilities, building an interactive platform, undertaking government functions and paying attention to image building, and achieved certain results, and the role of the hub has initially become prominent. In the new year, the Federation will strictly regulate its own construction, further improve its service capacity, give full play to its vanguard and exemplary role in social organizations, and lead all member units to participate in the construction and development of social organizations in our city.

2. Comrade Wu Weixiong, President of the Municipal Hotel Supporting Industry Association, made an annual financial work report of the Federation, and Comrade Huang Shaohong, Supervisor of the Board of Supervisors of the Federation, made a speech on behalf of the Board of Supervisors. She pointed out that since its establishment on June 8, 2113, the General Association has always insisted on holding meetings according to law and regulations, and the Council has always carried out various activities in accordance with the contents of the articles of association and relevant requirements. The daily administrative work of the secretariat is standardized and orderly, the financial management is strictly implemented in accordance with the relevant systems of social organizations, and the financial revenues and expenditures are legal after auditing. The Board of Supervisors will, as always, play a supervisory role and perform its supervisory function, and work with members to push the self-construction of the General Association to a new level.

III. After deliberation and voting at the general meeting of members, the following matters were passed:

1. The annual work report and work opinions for the new year of Shantou Social Organization Association were passed at the meeting;

2. The meeting adopted the Annual Financial Work Report of Shantou Social Organization Association;

3. The meeting adopted the "Request for Instructions on Repairing the Articles of Association of Shantou Social Organizations" proposed by the secretariat of the General Association, and agreed and approved the addition of the board of supervisors and other relevant clauses in the articles of association of the General Association, and the specific contents were revised and improved by the secretariat;

4. The meeting studied the public welfare education activities of social organizations initiated by the General Association and other social organizations and the development of social organizations? Shantou love? Chinese dream? Cultural forum and other related plans.

4. At the meeting, President Chen Zhenkun of the General Association presented vice-presidents plaques for the Municipal Automobile Industry Association, the Municipal Women Entrepreneurs Association and Shantou Branch of China Construction Bank Co., Ltd., and directors plaques for the Municipal Henghuide Women's Club. Certificates of appointment were issued to Lai Dong, Huang Shaohong and Li Wenrong on the Board of Supervisors, Jiang Wenzhong, Lin Xianghua and Li Wenying on the Social Organization Evaluation Center, and Jiang Wenzhong, Wang Sui and Zefeng Lin on the Secretary-General's Committee.

5. President Chen Zhenkun finally made a concluding speech. He fully affirmed the work of the Federation in the past year and put forward specific requirements for the next step. He stressed that the general meeting should further establish brand strategic awareness and build an influential, cohesive and credible general meeting of social organizations in accordance with the requirements of the reform and innovation of social organizations in our city. By consolidating internal construction, optimizing service level and other links, we will solidly promote the work, expand social influence, and strive to create a new situation in the construction of the Federation. At the same time, the Federation itself should firmly grasp the key year in the future, seize opportunities, meet challenges, and make new contributions to the economic construction of social organizations in our city together with member units.
