The requirements of the "Notice on Several Issues of Part-Time Employment Management in Beijing" stipulate that part-time workers' wages are calculated on an hourly basis. The hourly wage includes the hourly labor remuneration paid by the employer, the social insurance premiums payable for the part-time employees and the social insurance premiums and risk compensation payable by the workers themselves. At the same time, the employer may pay part-time workers on a weekly or monthly basis.
If an employer withholds or defaults on the wages of a part-time employee, the employer shall, in addition to paying the employee's wages in full, pay him or her economic compensation equal to 25% of his or her wages.
