Food safety of steaming kung fu

Some "Steaming Kung Fu" shops in Beijing were found to have stuffed buns with banned essence, and the municipal health supervision agency seized them after investigation. Two steamed kung fu steamed bun shops in Hujialou area of Beijing and the steamed kung fu steamed bun breakfast selling point near Anzhenmen subway have been closed.

The health department inspected a shop selling steamed Kung Fu steamed buns near Huoying City Railway Station, and found that the shop had not obtained a catering service license, so it was sealed up on the spot, and the dough mixer, skinner, steam stove and stainless steel table for making steamed buns were sealed up and detained according to law. However, the "essence" and surplus food raw materials added in the processing of steamed buns were not found at the scene.

Beijing Chaoyang and Changping Health Supervision Offices inspected 4 steamed kung fu steamed bun shops and 3 other steamed bun shops, and found no illegal use of additives. On the afternoon of 16, the law enforcement officers of Shijingshan Industrial and Commercial Branch went to the ingredients center of Beijing Steamed Kung Fu Catering Management Co., Ltd. for investigation. It is understood that as early as the beginning of August, this workshop was put on file by the industrial and commercial department because it was suspected of operating beyond the scope without a health permit, and at the same time, it was required to suspend business for rectification because of cross-regional operations in unregistered places.
