For example, private primary schools have a tuition fee of 3,000 yuan per semester, and parents can apply for a subsidy of 3,000 yuan. The tuition fee for private secondary schools is 5,000 yuan per semester, and parents can apply for 4,500 yuan.
In addition, the actual amount of private degree subsidies is subject to the latest documents of each district. For example, in the spring semester of 2023, the standard of degree subsidy in Longgang District is: 2,755 yuan per semester for primary schools (3,500 yuan minus 745 yuan for "two exemptions") and 3,258 yuan per semester for junior high schools (4,500 yuan minus 65,438 yuan for "two exemptions" plus 0.242 yuan).
Private degree subsidy
In order to promote the balanced and high-quality development of compulsory education in Shenzhen and further promote education equity, as early as 20 12, Shenzhen took the lead in introducing the degree subsidy method for compulsory education in private schools in Shenzhen. The object of degree subsidy is students who are entrusted by the government to study in private schools in Shenzhen and meet the conditions of free compulsory education in Shenzhen.
Students from private schools in Shenzhen who have a student status in Shenzhen and meet the requirements of the Measures for Degree Subsidies in Compulsory Education in Private Schools in Shenzhen meet one of the following conditions:
(1) School-age children registered in Shenzhen;
(two) school-age children who enjoy the relevant preferential policies of the municipal government;
(3) School-age children who are not registered in Shenzhen, and whose parents or one of them have registered in Shenzhen or have a residence permit in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone (have lived in Shenzhen for 1 year and have participated in social insurance continuously for 1 year);
(4) I or the students have applied for the residence permit of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents according to the Notice of the General Office of the State Council on Printing and Distributing (Guo Ban Fa [2018] No.81), and it is within the validity period.
