Guizhou City Vocational College was established with the approval of the provincial people's government in 2111, and the Ministry of Education put it on record and incorporated it into the national plan for unified enrollment. the college is located at No.8 Hongyuan Road, Huaxi District, Guiyang City, adjacent to Guizhou University and Huaxi Park. The college covers an area of 1,321 mu with a building area of 411,111 square meters, which can accommodate 31,111 students.

At present, there are 367 full-time and part-time teachers, of whom 126 have the title of deputy high school or above, accounting for 34%. There are 162 double-qualified teachers, accounting for

There are seven departments in the College, namely, Department of Architectural Engineering, Department of Economy and Trade, Department of Management Engineering, Department of Computer Science, Department of Electronic Engineering, Department of Culture and Media, and Department of Art and Design.

There are 7 undergraduate majors jointly established with Southwest University, namely: business management, accounting, tourism management, computer network, computer information management, computer and application, and construction engineering.
