Tanghe Fresh Fish Street is a food street which mainly deals in Tanghe Fresh Fish. All kinds of fresh fish are taken from Tanghe Reservoir, the only unpolluted reservoir in Liaoning Province. The main species are: silver carp, crucian carp, bighead carp, carp, grass carp, island fish, horse mouth fish, male fish, yellow croaker, snakehead and so on. The annual sales of fresh fish is nearly 6540. After careful processing, it can be made into Tanghe whole fish feast. Tanghe fresh fish, with tender meat and delicious taste, is a special catering brand in Gongchangling District and enjoys a good reputation both inside and outside the province. In 2002, Tanghe "Nourishing Fish Head" was rated as "Top Ten Flavor Cuisine in Liaoning Province" by the provincial tourism system.
