1 daily maintenance
a. The modified car needs to be put into the factory for regular maintenance, otherwise it may damage the parts or reduce the service performance of LPG system.
B. every 7111km, the LPG fuel filter should be removed, and it should be backwashed with high-pressure gas to flush out the dirt on it, so as not to block the gas. Replace the fuel filter element every 2 years.
C. check the condition of each pipeline and joint of the fuel system regularly, and there shall be no leakage.
D. if it is necessary to disassemble the LPG pipeline for engine maintenance, clean cotton cloth should be used to block the pipe joints to prevent foreign objects from entering and damaging related parts.
e. gas cylinders must be inspected once every two years according to the inspection regulations for pressure vessels.
2 Handling of abnormal conditions during driving
A. If an LPG-gasoline dual-fuel vehicle is abnormal during driving, it should stop immediately and take the following safety measures: turn off the engine (turn off the electromagnetic valve), open the protective cover of the combined valve of LPG gas tank, and turn off the LPG outflow valve (red valve); If there are passengers on the bus, let the passengers get off; Inform the professional refitting factory immediately, follow the arrangement of the professional refitting factory technicians, and start the engine after the technicians make necessary maintenance.
B. if you smell the smell of LPG or find that the engine is not working normally (including the engine is not working) while the car is driving, you should stop immediately and then take the safety measures mentioned in item a.
C. once the vehicle has a traffic accident, take the safety measures mentioned in item a immediately.
D. When a car catches fire during driving or due to a traffic accident, take the safety measures mentioned in item A immediately, then put out the fire with the fire extinguisher on board, and report to the nearest fire brigade and professional refitting factory in time, and obey the instructions of firefighters and technicians of professional refitting factory on site.
3 Common faults and troubleshooting of LPG-gasoline dual-fuel vehicles
3.1 No signal from the fuel changeover switch
Turn on the power supply of the vehicle. Under normal conditions, when the fuel changeover switch turns to oil, the LPG indicator lights up, and the liquid level indicator lights up at the same time. If the engine is not started, the liquid level indicator lights out after 1s-3s; If you turn on the car power and all the lights are off, it means that the line is open and the current does not enter the transfer switch. Check whether the power cord is connected, the fuse is intact, the plug of the transfer switch is plugged in and the transfer switch is damaged. If only the liquid level indicator light does not light up, and the car still does not light up when it is running with gas, it should be maintained in the factory to check whether the liquid level sensor and signal wire plug are in good condition.
3.2 The engine can't start
When it is normal, you should hear a "click" when you turn on the fuel changeover switch, which is the starting sound of the solenoid valve. If you can't hear it, it means that the solenoid valve has no electricity and the engine can't start. Check the wiring and plugs.
3.3 Unstable idle speed
When the cold truck is running with LPG, the idle speed is too low or unstable, and the speed may be normal after the temperature is normal; If the idle speed of the hot car is still unstable, adjust the idle speed adjusting screw of the gas system or the adjusting screw on the carburetor.
3.4 The power of the engine is insufficient when LPG is used
Check whether the power valve is improperly adjusted; Whether the gas pipeline is broken or blocked, and whether the joint is loose; Whether the LPG filter is too dirty; Whether the evaporator hot water pipe works normally; Whether there is residual liquid in the pressure reducing valve.
3.5 Too much fuel consumption
Check and adjust the power valve and idle speed adjusting screw, and clean the air filter.
4 Precautions for overhauling dual-fuel vehicles
A. Remove the surrounding combustibles at any time.
B. when pipelines, gasification devices and other liquefied gas system devices need to be disassembled, the refitting factory of gas devices must be informed;
C. when welding, the outlet valve of the gas tank must be closed, and the LPG in the pipeline will burn out until the engine is automatically turned off, before starting the operation.
D. when overhauling, keep away from the fire source as far as possible. When working at night, matches, lighters, etc. should not be used instead of lighting, and when using lighting lamps, they should be as far away as possible.
