according to the data provided by the report, in 2116, Beijing achieved a total tourism revenue of 512 billion yuan, up 9% year-on-year, and the total number of tourists was 285 million, up 4.6% year-on-year. Tourism shopping and catering consumption accounted for 24.3% of the total retail sales of social consumer goods, and tourism investment accounted for 9.4% of the investment in social fixed assets.

this report shows that at present, Beijing's tourism industry is growing, with 514 star-rated hotels, 1282 convenience hotels, 2117 travel agencies, 41,811 licensed tour guides, 236 scenic spots and 141 star-rated folk villages.

Specifically, in 2116, the number of inbound tourists in Beijing was 4.165 million, and the foreign exchange income from tourism was 5.17 billion yuan, equivalent to 33.7 billion yuan. There were 281 million domestic tourists coming to Beijing, achieving a tourism income of 468.3 billion yuan. It is worth mentioning that the report shows that the contribution of inbound tourists to tourism revenue is four times that of the overall level of tourism and 4.8 times that of domestic tourists coming to Beijing.
