This bar has a large area, and the sound reinforcement system is divided into three parts. The first part is the dance floor area in front of the DJ. * * Adopt four tri-band mid-high frequency speakers and five double 18-inch horn woofers from a British brand. The medium and high frequency speakers are hoisted, and the bass speakers are placed side by side in front of the dance floor. The second part is the sound reinforcement in the scattered seating area of the hall. There are eight groups of * * *. Each group uses the same brand of three-frequency remote medium-high frequency speakers, 2 1 inch ultra-low frequency speakers and double 18-inch low frequency speakers. The third part is the second-floor sound reinforcement system, which adopts dual 15-inch tri-band full-frequency speakers and dual 18-inch low-frequency speakers of the same brand, with two sets of full-frequency and bass combinations on each side. All power amplifiers adopt Peak and BSS series amplifiers. * * * Four digital audio processors are adopted, among which XTA DP226 handles the second floor 15-inch tri-band full-range speakers, one XTA448 handles scattered speakers around, one XTA DP226 handles the DJ's top tri-band speakers, and the other ASHLY4.24 handles all double 18-inch bass.

Second, the initial feeling.

After listening to the sound before adjustment, I feel that the overall sound is fierce, the bass position is relatively high, the overall sound is hard, the chest feeling is relatively strong, the middle and high frequencies are not clear enough, the sound is miscellaneous, the layering is not good, and the overall feeling is not comfortable enough. The sounds in the three areas are not synchronized, and the backcourt sound feels "code running".

Third, the adjustment steps

1. Adjust the area first, and adjust the sound reinforcement system in front of the DJ. Firstly, SIA software is used to correct the phase delay, and the test microphone is placed on the dance floor. First, the launch time and phase of the subwoofer are measured, and then the launch time and phase of the low frequency, high frequency and high frequency are measured and recorded. It is found that the transmission time of several channels is wrong and the phase of some channels is incorrect, which is the main reason for the unclear high frequency. After the test, the processor will adjust the transmission time of the four audio channels to be consistent. Then re-audition, found that the sound performance of each frequency band is relatively clear, but the bass position is still high and the sound is hard. Check whether the bass crossover point is 150 Hz, and adjust this crossover point to 99 Hz. At the same time, the intersection of the lower limit of the middle and low frequencies is also adjusted from 150 Hz to 99 Hz. After listening to the audition again, I felt that the low frequency position dropped from the chest to the lower abdomen, but I still felt a little hard when I pressed it loudly. So I balanced the bass and attenuated it by 8 decibels at 125 Hz. I listened to it again and felt that the intensity was appropriate. However, the lower limit of low frequency feels vague. The processor is used to raise the lower limit of low frequency, and the crossing point is raised to 45 Hz. At the same time, the bass is greatly attenuated at 35 Hz, and the bass becomes. However, at this time, I felt that the elasticity of the low frequency and the flu weakened, and I increased the 55 Hz by 4 decibels. At this time, the elasticity of low frequency is more suitable. But I found that there was a little buzzing sound in the low frequency when I pressed it loudly, so I attenuated 80 Hz by 3 decibels. At this time, I feel that the low-frequency sound is clean and the transient is good. At the same time, I have the flexibility to hit the ball, and the bass effect is basically adjusted.

Because the medium and high frequency speakers are medium and long-range performance speakers, the sound is fierce. Although it feels great, people get tired easily after listening for a long time. First, deal with the middle and low frequency parts. The mid-low frequency part of this speaker is very thick and has a strong "all-pass" sound. Attenuate 250 Hz to reduce the "all-pass" tone before listening. I feel that the intermediate frequency has the feeling of hitting my ears, so I attenuate 1250 Hz on the processor and attenuate it by 4 dB with a wider Q value, so that the intermediate frequency will be more flexible. There is a strong impact sound in the middle and high frequency parts, and the metal sense is strong. The processor attenuates 2500 Hz and 5000 Hz in a wide range, and the overall attenuation is 2 dB, so the sound is not so harsh. The teeth sound in the high frequency part is heavy, and I feel a little hairy. 8K frequency is attenuated by 3 dB, and the sound is much more comfortable. At this time, I let go of the whole and felt that the sound balance of each frequency band was very good. I asked the DJ in the venue and felt that the low frequency was not heavy, so I lowered the lower limit of the low frequency to 40 Hz, and everyone felt satisfied as a whole.

2. Adjust the speakers in the scattered seat area: The speakers in the scattered seat area are a 5-frequency system. Firstly, determine the frequency points of the five frequency divisions as ultra-low frequency 35-80, low frequency 50- 100, medium-low frequency 100- 1300, medium-high frequency 1300 and high frequency 800.

As in the previous method, SIA software is used to correct the phase and delay of each sub-band to ensure that the phase and transmission time of the five frequency bands are consistent. Then adjust the timbre. Because this speaker uses the same unit as the last speaker, the sound processing method is basically the same, except for the 2 1 inch ultra-low frequency speaker, so some work has been done on the airflow sense and flexibility processing, with 50 Hz and 63 Hz increased and 80 Hz and 125 Hz attenuated. The adjustment amount is 3 decibels. At the same time, the ultra-low frequency is increased by 5 decibels. Because it is a far-field speaker, the medium and high frequencies in the near-field listening sense are sufficient, and the gains of the three channels of the medium and high frequencies are attenuated by 2 decibels, so the overall listening sense is much more comfortable.

3. Adjust the external sound reinforcement system on the second floor: First, check the dual 15 inch tri-band full-frequency sound, which feels a bit strange. Then turn on the processor to check the intersection and find that the intersection setting is incorrect. The crossover point of this speaker is 300/3500 Hz, but it is set to 120/ 1800 Hz. After reset, the sound returned to normal. Then, after phase correction, phase and delay correction, the timbre of the sound is adjusted. Because it is a double 15 inch structure, the low-frequency part is thick, and the impact on the head and chest is strong when the volume is high, so 125 Hz and 250 Hz are attenuated by 3 dB, and the midrange part is attenuated by 1250 Hz in a large range. The treble part attenuates 5000 Hz and 8000 Hz by 4 dB. The overall listening is more comfortable, and the tuning of the subwoofer part is the same as that of the DJ stage part. However, the number of bass on the second floor is relatively small, and the subwoofer has increased by 3 decibels as a whole.

4. Coordinated debugging of the three areas as a whole: the speakers in the three areas are independently debugged according to the above three steps. Because the positions of the three areas are different, when the speakers in the three areas all sound, the backcourt is out of sync because of the different transmission times. Therefore, SIA software is used to delay three areas in the sound reinforcement system. A, scattered area sound reinforcement system and DJ area sound reinforcement system synchronization. Put the test microphone in the scattered seat area, detect the sound propagation time of the sound reinforcement system of DJ station reaching the area, turn off the DJ station speaker, and measure the propagation time of the speaker in the scattered seat area at the same time, and then adjust the input channel delay of the speaker processor in the scattered seat area to synchronize the speaker sounds in the two areas. After the adjustment, the speaker on the second floor and the main power amplifier were adjusted synchronously, and then the audition was conducted. The code running phenomenon disappeared and the overall sound consistency of the venue was very good.

5.DJ takes turns to play discs for overall evaluation: three DJs take turns to play different music styles and make necessary fine-tuning of the system. Some DJ brother responded that the bass was a little soft and weak, so the processor improved the bass 125 Hz, and the sense of strength was strengthened. At this time, because it is an open field, the reflection in the field is heavy and the low frequency part is a bit miscellaneous, so I won't do it.

6. Adjustment of DJ monitoring: use NEXO PS 15 as DJ monitoring on the DJ table. Because there is no controller equipped with PS 15TD, the sound is impetuous and thin. An equalizer is used to set the compensation parameters according to the equalization of PS 15TD controller, which makes me feel much more comfortable and the intermediate frequency is improved a little.

7. When the venue was full at night, the overall feeling was good, but because the guests were full, the sense of low frequency was a little insufficient, so the low frequency channel gain of 2 dB was added to the processor, and the sense of low frequency was much better. The overall feeling is clear in the middle and high frequencies, tough in the low frequencies, strong in the overall sense of encirclement and touch, and no oppressive feeling in the ears. You can chat at normal volume in the venue. At this time, when the input and output signal of the mixer is 0 dB, all power amplifiers work at -6 dB, and the system still has a large margin, so the system safety factor is relatively high. Save the adjusted parameters, lock all the processors by the voice-activated brothers in the venue, and the adjustment work is over, which takes a total of four hours.
