Canada's iconic building is the National Television Tower of Canada.
The National Television Tower of Canada is the symbol of Toronto and a must-see attraction for tourists to the city. The tower is 553.33 meters high and consists of four parts from top to bottom: the base, the observation deck, the "lid of the sky" and the antenna tower.
The most famous of these is the 360° rotating restaurant observation deck, 351 meters above ground, which takes 72 minutes to rotate around, allowing diners to enjoy a 360° panoramic view of Toronto without having to move.
The tower's most unique feature is the glass floor built into the observation deck, which fans out to a height of 342 meters, making it a trepidation for almost every visitor who attempts to set foot on it.
Interior
The first floor of the tower houses a cafeteria serving a variety of beverages and fast food. There is also a store selling souvenirs, a small movie theater showing a documentary on the construction of the tower, a number of recreational facilities for children, and a large electronic display that reports the time and climate around the world.
The tower is equipped with four high-speed elevators that run at 367 meters per minute and can transport 1,500 visitors to the top of the tower every hour. At 346 meters from the ground, there is the world's highest ballroom. A revolving restaurant for 500 people to eat at the same time is located 350 meters from the ground and is said to be the highest in the world.
The restaurant rotates every 65 minutes and offers a view of Lake Ontario and the city of Toronto while enjoying a drink. The tower has three levels of observation decks, which are located at a height of 342 meters from the ground (outdoor observation deck), 346 meters (indoor observation deck) and 447 meters (space observation deck).
