Do you need to add fire protection to the first floor of the six-meter-high steel frame workshop?
The first floor of a six-meter-high steel frame workshop needs extra fire protection. According to the regulation of fire sprinkler system in Maintenance and Management of Building Fire Protection Facilities, the height of shops is generally 4.8-6 meters. Under normal circumstances, users will add steel structures as needed to make full use of shop space. After the steel structure is installed, fire sprinklers and fire detectors should be installed on the ground floor, and fire hydrants, manual alarm buttons and alarm bells should be added on the upper floor. In addition, the area of the added steel structure shall not be more than 2/3 of the building area of the store, and there shall be no less than 2 evacuation passages on the upper floor of the added steel structure with a width of not less than 1.2m, and no less than 2 exits on the bottom floor. Therefore, it is necessary to increase fire protection on the first floor of the six-meter-high steel frame workshop.
