China is a country with a long history and diverse cultures, and each region has a unique food culture and specialties. However, in some regions, there is a lack of traditional food culture due to historical, geographical and demographic factors. I have summarized a few cities with similar culinary deserts:

4. Urumqi: Urumqi is located in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and its food culture is influenced by multi-ethnic cultures, but it has not developed a more unique traditional cuisine.

It should be noted that the above cities do not mean that there is no delicious food, just a lack of obvious traditional food culture. All of these cities are rich in local snacks and dining culture, and you can taste a variety of different flavors of food.
