Duanyuan Village, formerly known as Duanyuan, was changed to Duanyuan after the founding of the People's Republic of China and is now Duanyuan. It was named after Jingshan Garden was pushed here by Ishikawa River. It is 2 kilometers away from downtown Yanliang in the south and borders Dongshanguan Township in Fuping County in the north. It has jurisdiction over six natural villages, namely Dongguanghe, He Zhongguang, Xiguanghe, Jijia, Duannan, Duanbei, Duan Dong, Duan Xi, Chenjia, Zizhu and Guojia, and 10 villagers' groups, and the village committee is located in Duannan Group. There are 7,765,438 villagers+2,845 people from 0 households, and the cultivated land area is 2,784 mu.

In the Qing Dynasty, the village belonged to Lianliuli, Lintong County, and in the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of Yibao and Qibao in Yanliang Town, Lintong County. In the early days of the People's Republic of China, administrative divisions changed frequently. 1956, Dawn Agricultural Cooperative was established. 1962 Duan Yuan Brigade was established, which belongs to Yanliang Commune. With the adjustment of zoning, 1966 was assigned to yanliang district, Xi City. 1984, after the commune was changed to township, Yanliang Township was renamed as Fenghuang Road Sub-district Office, and Duanyuan was changed to Fenghuang Road Sub-district Office. Since the 1990s, it has been called Duanyuan Village.

The village is flat and located in Jinghuiqu irrigation area, with good agricultural production conditions. There are provincial highway 107, Yanfu Highway, Xitong Railway and Western Han Railway, with convenient transportation. There are 1 village-run primary schools and 1 hospitals. In 2009, the village took the opportunity of "upgrading and scientific development" to completely solve the problems of water and road that restricted development. The area of fruits and vegetables increased to 1.300 mu, and the number of farmhouse music increased from 9 to 20, and the per capita net income of the village reached 7950 yuan. Yanliang district Grain Bureau Feed Company, District Agricultural Machinery Management Station, Jinghui No.1 Canal Yanliang Water Pipe Station, District No.2 Cotton Mill, Zhongtian Food Co., Ltd., Building Materials Factory, Paper Mill, Cement Factory, Airlines, Installation No.3 Company, Xiqing Company, District Food Factory, District Waste Treatment Plant and other units and enterprises have settled in the village, but most of them have stopped production and reformed.

Near Duanyuan Village, there are tourist attractions such as Yanliang Aviation Science and Technology Museum (Yanliang Flight Experience Museum), Gaojia Folk Courtyard, Quercus Yangcheng Site in Qin and Han Dynasties, Yihe Site, and Ancient Quercus Yangqiao, and there are specialties such as Yanliang Xiangzao, Yanliang Winter Melon, Yanliang Crispy Pear, Fried Paomo and Xue Kui Pei.
