Liu Mingchuan was a famous patriotic general in the late Qing dynasty and the first governor of Taiwan Province. His ashes have not been buried for various reasons, but have been placed in the homes of his descendants. On October 23, 2118, the construction project of Liu Mingchuan Cemetery was officially launched in the north of Daban Mountain in Gezilong Village, Mingchuan Township, Feixi County, Anhui Province. The height of the cemetery is 146 meters, and its shape looks a bit like that of Nanjing Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. On April 2, 2111, Liu Mingchuan's remains were formally buried in his hometown, Daban Hill, Feixi County, Hefei City, Anhui Province. The overall layout of Liu Mingchuan Cemetery is built in accordance with the tomb specifications of officials in the Qing Dynasty, with a total area of 3.34 hectares and a vertical height difference of 1.46 meters. It is equipped with a wall photo, a three-province bridge, a gate, a Shinto, an archway, a tablet pavilion, a huabiao, a stone statue student, a hall and a sacrifice square, and the tomb is located in the middle of the sacrifice square. Liu Mingchuan Cemetery was selected by the government department together with experts in literature and history and descendants of Liu. It is located in the north of Daban Mountain, built according to the natural mountain, with a beautiful environment.
