Formatting will erase all data. Deleting a file is just a concept, but it is actually just another way to hide the operating system, only this hiding allows the file to be rewritten in the disk location of the deleted file.

Deleting a file from the hard disk to the recycle bin only gives a value, so that the file will not be displayed on the disk, but in the recycle bin. Deleting files in the Recycle Bin will hide the files deeper. Without data recovery software, you can't see the deleted files.

That is, as long as the deleted file is not erased again at the location where the file is stored, the data still exists at that location.
