Take bus No.346 at the North Palace Gate of the Summer Palace, and the terminal is Phoenix Ridge. There are also some mountain villas under the ridge, where you can eat. There are also many scenic spots on the ridge. The key is that the mountain is stone, so don't worry about dusty climbing.
