The myth of "Dayu kills windproof" happened in the 21th century BC, about 4,111 years ago, and its legendary windproof country is near the birthplace of Liangzhu culture today, just a few miles away from Anxi, between the two mountains in Fengyu, Deqing County. This myth has long been recorded in historical books, such as Lu Yu, Huai Nan Zi, Historical Records, Shan Hai Jing and Sou Shen Ji, etc. In recent years, folk writers in our province have collected a lot of information, which is very valuable.

So King Shun beheaded Gun in a rage, and continued to recruit heroes for water control all day long, so as to cure the flood.

after many years, a Yu came out. He was the son of Gun and was born three years after his death. Yu was born like a worm, but he grew quickly and soon became a strong young man. He heard that his father was a hero of water control, but he was killed by Shun Wang because water control was illegal, so he also determined to control water. He thought that since the blocking was unsuccessful, he had to find another way. He toured the north and south of the great river and summed up the characteristics of geomantic omen: water flows downwards and becomes a flood with the wind, even if there is a fateful force, it can't stop their coming. Therefore, it is necessary to use the method of dredging to help the rainwater in the lake port flow along the river to the rivers and seas, so as not to accumulate on land.

Yu crossed the Five Mountains and walked the Three Rivers. On the way, he met a friend named Xiao Wu, and they often talked about everything and walked together. When they were blocked by the flood, they worked together day and night to dig up the old embankment, move a hill, and sometimes split a mountain with a mountain axe. Arriving at Taihu Lake on the coast of the East China Sea, Yu and Xiao Wu settled down temporarily in a place called Tu Shan by the Qiantang River.

Before Yu and Xiao Wu arrived in Tu Shan, they discovered that there was a piece of land in the north of Qiantang River, which was particularly fertile. Seeing that many people there were grinding stones, Xiao Wu asked, "What is this for?" Everyone said in unison, "Stone plough." At this time, a mysterious turtle stuck out his head and added, "The king of the wind has gone to Taihu Lake to control water. Where are you from?" Xiao Wu looked at it and thought, it's also said that water conservancy, what strength can such a turtle make? Xuan Gui had already detected Xiao Wu's mind, and suddenly he became a person much taller than Xiao Wu. This startled Xiao Wu. He took a deep breath and said, "I am Xiao Wu, the strategist of Yu Wang, and I was ordered to learn from Fangfeng." Xuan Gui said politely, "The body embryo becomes bigger and smaller, which is our means to control water. Our windbreak king's ability is greater, and his frame embryo is thicker."

Xiao Wu returned to Tu Shan and reported to Yu Wang what he had seen and heard in Fangfeng country, especially referring to the huge embryo of Fangfeng. The small highland turned into a hill, and the people were saved, but the wind king was trapped in the lake. After three days and nights, his body turned into a mound, just like a tower, and later everyone called it a "windproof tower".

There is a lot of rain in the south, and it has been 9981 days since the wind has been controlling water around the clock in this area. As soon as he got home, Xuan Gui came forward happily and said, "Yu, Gun's son, has been to Fangfeng Cave." Fangfeng and his fourth brother "xianggong" said, "In a few days, we will go to Tu Shan to exchange experiences in water control with him."

Dayu came to the southeast to control water for thirteen years, and settled down in Tu Shan to get a wife. He often went out and made friends with some heroes of water control. He plunged into the valley upstream, ditched in Pingchuan downstream, put his head on Tiantai Mountain and stepped on Dongyang River, which was very effective. So everyone was in high spirits and the scene was full of joy. At this time, Yu Wang remembered the windproof that he wanted to see many times, but he was nowhere to be seen. After asking several times, everyone said that he had not seen it. Asked Xiao Wu again, Xiao Wu said, "This is not a matter of notice. The notice was sent out at the same time. Everyone came on time, but he didn't come." Xiao Wu approached the front of Yu Wang and said in a low voice. Yu Wang's face fell immediately and he stopped talking. Xiao Wu invited the kings to eat large pieces of meat and drink in big bowls, and asked everyone to come on the spur of the moment and enjoy themselves. Soon, the sound of wind music sounded around Maoshan, and everyone was lost in the dancing figure of the dancers and forgot the time.

On the last day of the conference, I saw a group of people coming from the pond. The first one was a tall man, and there was a lot of wet mud stuck to his rolled trousers. Dozens of people with long hands and feet behind him were all like soldiers who had just come down from the battlefield, all of whom looked exhausted. Someone shouted at the meeting: "The wind king is coming." But Yu Wang said coldly, "Bring up the windproof." Confused, the second monk, Fangfengzhang, quickly walked to the third-level pedestal of King Yu, and only went to the first level to face Yu Wang. Dayu saw that Fangfeng was tall and strong, and his voice was like Hong Zhong's. He was stunned at once: "What a genius!" However, there was a nameless spirit in his heart, and he shouted loudly: "Windproof! Do you know the crime? " Fangfeng was looking at Dayu, who was praised by everyone, and a pile of tributes in front of him. Suddenly he heard Dayu's words and blurted out, "Am I guilty? I have worked hard all my life to cure the flood of the sky and relieve the disaster of the great lakes. I have defended the country and the people live and work in peace and contentment. Suddenly, a counselor said, "Lay the foundation." They immediately set up a mound beside the king of Fangfeng, which rose step by step, but the soil was one foot high and the king of Fangfeng was one foot taller, but he still couldn't reach to cut off his head. Another counselor said, "Fire." They took pine, cypress, camphor and other branches to surround the wind and build a wooden frame, forming a scaffold, which was ignited by a fire. Smoke swirled around the execution platform, and Fangfeng laughed three times in the fire and soon turned to ashes. People watched for a long time before gradually dispersing. Dayu looked at the sad scene and asked himself if he had done something wrong. He fell ill in bed after returning home.

after more than ten days, he made a patrol to inspect the Maoshan Mountain, wrote the word "Yu Cave" on a boulder, and walked to the punishment pond by the way. " When they came to the depths of the cave, they saw the mysterious turtle and the gold and silver "xianggong" all gathered together to discuss organizing a grand memorial ceremony for the king of Fangfeng. When Dayu and his party came in, they were immediately silent. As soon as Xuangui saw Xiao Wu, he said excitedly, "You're the culprit who killed King Fangfeng. You didn't send the notice here until the day before the meeting. Even if he was there, he couldn't get to Maoshan on time. The wind king arrived on the third day. How can this be considered late? " Dayu immediately questioned Xiao Wu. Xiao Wu had to say that he deliberately made Fangfeng late, because he saw that Yu valued Fangfeng very much, and that Fangfeng's water control ability was better than his own. If Fangfeng was reused by Dayu, his position as prime minister might be lost, so he designed this trap ...

Dayu also listened to Xuangui and Jin and Yin Xianggong telling the story of wind prevention, and deeply felt that he had killed a great man with ability, morality and nobility by mistake, and felt very guilty. He read Fang Feng's works and decided to absorb them into his own Xia Lv, and especially added contents, such as reusing talents, guarding against spies, standing up for morality, self-defense and so on. After listening to Xia Yu's words and his manners before and after his tour of closing the mountain, Xuangui gradually diluted Dayu's anger at killing Fangfeng, and agreed to build a Fangfeng temple in closing the mountain, taking August 25th every year as the day to pay homage to Fangfeng, and buried Fangfeng on the high pier in the north of the city.

Yu Wang thought that these works could make up for his crime of killing innocent people by mistake. However, many people in Fangfeng did not forgive him. Some people have vowed not to worship Yu, and to avenge the king of Windbreak. On Yu Wang's way back to Maoshan after touring Fangfeng, a group of mountain gods with bows and arrows stopped him. Dayu shouted: "I am Xia Yu!" The mountain gods ignored it and kept pulling their bows and shooting arrows. Yu Wang's guards rushed over and caught the two men. Without saying a word, they suddenly grabbed two arrows and stabbed them in their chest. Two strands of deep red blood were sprayed on Dayu's face. When Dayu saw that the two men were dead, he ordered his men to take out two groups of immortal grass and stuff them into the two populations. They immediately survived. Dayu said, "They are subjects of Fangfeng. They came to attack me for revenge. Let them go home. What a privilege to be windproof! There are such loyal subjects. "

Dayu stopped breathing the next morning when he returned to Maoshan. Everyone obeyed his orders: clothes with three collars, reeds with four inches, and tung coffins with three inches were buried next to Huiyi Mountain, and his system of "those who died in the mountain were buried in the mountain, and those who died in Yu Ling were buried in Yu Ling" was implemented. Take a flint next to it and engrave it with the inscription "Jade Stone". Yu, the founder of the temple, collapsed in Huiji. He was ten years old and lived to be 161 years old.

The subjects of Fangfeng country will never forget the kindness of Fangfeng King. They built Fangfeng temples everywhere. In Zhu 'ao (later named Hengtang, in Amaranth Bridge) in the south of the corner mountain, there is a large-scale temple, with a statue made of civil works, a dragon head and a bull's ear, and wind-proof ancient music is played during worship. People often sing songs all night and miss their ancestors-the king of the wind. This custom has lasted for thousands of years. Confucius also mentioned it in Lu Yu. Until the 1941s, you can still see this windbreak temple!
