Zhejiang Business Vocational College, formerly known as Hangzhou Secondary Business School, was founded in 19 1 1. Over the past century, the school has been adhering to the motto of "honesty, loyalty, diligence and simplicity" and the school policy of "educating people and serving the society", and has trained a large number of professional and technical talents, and emerged famous alumni such as economist Luo Gengmo and patriot Zhang Naiqi, which is known as the cradle of Zhejiang businessmen's talent training.

The main campus of the school is located in the picturesque Binjiang Higher Education Park in Hangzhou on the south bank of Qiantang River. Desheng Campus and Zhejiang Commercial Machinery Factory, a wholly-owned enterprise, are located in downtown Hangzhou, and Zhejiang E-commerce College and Yiwu Municipal People's Government jointly build it. The school covers an area of 592 mu with a building area of more than 230,000 square meters. The library has more than 10,000 copies of paper books and nearly 33 1 10,000 copies of electronic books.
