There are eight kinds of illegal behaviors in the Yangtze River:

First, it is forbidden to purchase, sell and process the illegally caught catch from the prohibited waters;

Second, it is forbidden to purchase, sell and process aquatic products that cannot provide legal source certificates;

Third, it is forbidden to label aquatic products with the words "wild fish in the Yangtze River" and "wild fresh in the Yangtze River";

Fourth, it is forbidden for catering units to deal in related dishes such as "Wild Fish in the Yangtze River" and "Wild Fresh in the Yangtze River";

Fifth, it is forbidden to sell, buy or eat precious and endangered aquatic wild animals and their products in the Yangtze River basin;

Sixth, it is forbidden to publicize "wild fish in the Yangtze River" and "wild fresh river in the Yangtze River" as gimmicks;

Seventh, it is forbidden to publish advertisements for the sale, purchase and utilization of illegally caught catches and their products in the Yangtze River basin or prohibited fishing tools;

Eighth, it is forbidden to provide trading services for the illegal sale, purchase and utilization of illegally caught catches and their products or prohibited fishing tools in the Yangtze River basin.

Legal basis

Article 341 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China * * * The crime of illegal fishing of aquatic products violates the laws and regulations on the protection of aquatic products resources. If the circumstances are serious, the offender shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention, public surveillance or a fine.
