Work contents and responsibilities of the food and drug inspection brigade:

1. Guide the food and drug inspection; Establish and improve the city's food, medicine, medical equipment, cosmetics, health care products inspection system and mechanism; Responsible for the recall and disposal of food, drugs, cosmetics and health care products in the jurisdiction.

2. Responsible for the inspection of food, medicines, medical devices, cosmetics and health products; Responsible for the supervision and sampling of food and drugs; Responsible for the supervision and inspection of the safety of edible agricultural products in circulation and the finished grain and oil market, and establish a working mechanism for cooperating with relevant departments to handle cases.

3. Be responsible for the construction of food and drug electronic inspection system; Responsible for food and drug advertising monitoring; Carry out food and drug inspection and publicity, education and training.

4. Be responsible for handling complaints about food and drugs, and organize to investigate and deal with major cases and cases assigned by superiors according to law.

5. Be responsible for investigating and handling food poisoning and food pollution accidents;

6. To undertake other tasks assigned by the Food and Drug Administration.
