The folding method of restaurant paper towels is as follows:
1. Spread the napkin completely. Then, fold the top down about two inches (5 cm). Hold down the folds with your fingers. The folded part at the top will be used to make the head of the flower.
2. Hold the upper left corner with your fingers. Sandwich the napkin between the index finger and the middle finger. Your finger should point in the same direction as the fold.
3. Wrap the napkin on your finger. Start with the back of your finger. Ensure that the bottom and top are evenly wrapped. Continue to wrap the napkin tightly around your fingers until there are about two inches (5 cm) left, and then stop.
4. Fold the flap in the upper right corner diagonally to the upper edge. This will form a small triangle at the top of the flap. Folds will help shape roses and create a small separation between petal layers.
5. Wrap the corner around your finger and hold it with your thumb. The napkin should be cylindrical now. Make sure the top and bottom are equal in size. Unscrew the base of the rose tightly to form a stem. Put your finger on the head of the flower. Put the coil around your finger in the right place. Work on the valve stem with your free hand.
6. Find a corner at the bottom of the napkin and gently pull it out so that it stands out. This will form a leaf for the stem. When you continue to screw the stem to the bottom, hold the leaf between your fingers to keep it loose, so that a flower is folded.
