Emergency Notice on Strictly Preventing the Inflow of Unqualified Disposable Chopsticks into the Food Service Segment

The "Shaanxi Provincial Circular Economy Promotion Regulations" will be promulgated and implemented on December 1, 2011.Starting from December 1, 2011, Shaanxi Province will prohibit food and beverage enterprises from providing disposable chopsticks to consumers, and any operator violating the regulations will be ordered by the Food and Drug Administration to make corrections within a certain period of time, and if it fails to make corrections after that period of time, it will impose a fine of 500 yuan or more than 2,000 yuan. A fine of 500 yuan or more than 2,000 yuan or less; and a fine of 50 yuan or more than 200 yuan or less for individual operators of food and beverage.
