The Health Bureau is a public institution. The Health and Wellness Bureau is the government agency responsible for managing local public health and medical institutions. Responsible for the overall coordination of medical quality, medical disputes, disease prevention and control, maternal and child health care, health supervision, patriotic health, public health emergencies, AIDS prevention and control and new rural cooperative medical fund management.

major duty

(a) the implementation of the "Regulations", the management of government affairs and logistics services, logistics management policy recommendations, the implementation of logistics information construction.

(two) to undertake the comprehensive management, greening and beautification, family planning, patriotic health, traffic safety and comprehensive environmental improvement of organs and directly affiliated units.

(three) responsible for the management and service of office property, conference, catering, printing, receiving and dispatching, medical treatment, official car, security and so on.

(four) to undertake the management of civil air defense projects, underground spaces and self-management staff houses of organs and directly affiliated units.

(five) responsible for the management of office space, the distribution of employee housing and rent, housing files and turnover housing management.

(six) to undertake office building overhaul, energy conservation and emission reduction and office supplies management.

(seven) to undertake the management of medical expenses and escrow funds, and to be responsible for the management of logistics funds.

(eight) to organize business activities according to law and enhance the ability of logistics service support.

(nine) to undertake other tasks assigned by the National Health and Wellness Committee.

Development prospect of health bureau

The first is to improve the ability of medical and health services. The Chinese medicine hospital will be built into a tertiary Chinese medicine hospital with strong comprehensive ability and outstanding Chinese medicine characteristics, and the integration of resources between railway hospitals and Chinese medicine hospitals will be substantially promoted. The district hospital will be built into five provincial key specialties and six famous doctor studios. In 2025, township hospitals and community health service centers will all reach the first-class level.

The second is to improve the public health service system. The staffing, housing construction, equipment and functions of the new CDC have reached the national standards. Newly built maternal and child health care family planning service center, reaching the second-class level.

The third is to deepen the reform of the medical and health system. We will comprehensively promote the construction of "four invariants" and "six unifications" compact county doctors. By 2025, all public hospitals and 10 township streets will be built into compact county doctors.

The fourth is to build a strong area of traditional Chinese medicine. In-depth implementation of the "Chinese medicine into ten thousand families" activity, "convenient to see Chinese medicine, rest assured to use Chinese medicine" action, comprehensively popularize the "smart Chinese medicine every village" project, expand and extend Chinese medicine services, so that high-quality Chinese medicine services can benefit thousands of families.
