Changsha National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Changsha High-tech Industrial Development Zone) was founded in 1988, and was approved by the State Council in 1991 as the first batch of national high-tech industrial development zones. It consists of two parts: Chengzhong District and Yuelu Mountain.
In p>1997, with the approval of the former State Science and Technology Commission, it was reorganized into "one district and four parks". The overall planning control area of Lugu is 1.41 square kilometers, and now it has formed a development scale of 51 square kilometers. The Yuelushan High-tech Park, a core park directly under the jurisdiction of Lugu Street, Leifeng Street, Dongfanghong Street and Baima Street, is located on the west bank of Xiangjiang River and the north side of Lushan Mountain, with a population of 411,111.
