How to make ppt drop-down menu
Methods and steps of ppt making drop-down menu;

1, menu add

In this process, we need to place some text boxes on the slide and adjust their positions to display the menu.

First drag a text box on the slide, enter the words "Navigation Menu" in the text box, and set the font, size and color. Right-click the border of the text box, select "Format Text Box", set the text box, fill the background, etc.

Then copy six identical text boxes and put them under the text boxes in the navigation menu in turn, and change the text to "geographical location", "historical overview", "development status", "teaching achievement", "honor" and "future prospect". Of course, the background color of each text box can also be changed. Then, right-click the six text boxes to link to the corresponding slides, and finally select the six text boxes to combine them to form a combo box.

2. Add menu pop-up animation

This process will pop up a drop-down menu when you click on the navigation menu. Select the combo text box, right-click its border, select custom animation, and select Add Effect → Enter → Cut in the dialog box.

3. Set the cutting effect, change the "direction" to "from top" and set the trigger to "navigation menu", so that when you click "navigation menu", a drop-down menu will pop up.

4. Add menu recall animation

Through the above process, clicking "Navigation Menu" will pop up a drop-down menu. At this time, we need another effect. When you click "Navigation Menu" again, the drop-down menu will be withdrawn. The method of retracting the menu is the same as above, that is, right-click the combo box and select Custom Animation, and select Exit → Cut in the dialog box.

At this point, a PPT drop-down menu is basically completed. In order to increase its animation effect, we can add a background to this drop-down menu to make it look more vivid.

5. The background of icing on the cake

Draw a rectangle on the combo box, slightly larger than this combo box, and set it up, such as removing the border and adding color. Finally, right-click it and select "Stacking Order → Send to Bottom" to put it at the bottom of the combo box.

The custom animation settings of this rectangle also set the cut-in and cut-out effects, which are also effective when the navigation menu is triggered.

On this basis, we also need to adjust the trigger order, that is, the animation order, so that when clicking the "navigation menu", the rectangle pops up first, and then the menu pops up; When you click the navigation menu again, retract the menu first and then the rectangle. Note: both the cut-in "combination 3" and the cut-out "rectangle 1" should be changed to "back".
