Description of Tieshan Temple National Forest Park:
Tieshan Temple is located in Jiashan, Anhui Province to the west and Lai 'an County, Anhui Province to the south, which is the intersection of two provinces and three counties. In 1969, General Xu Shiyou found that the scenery here was pleasant and the vegetation was lush, so he decided to build a hunting and recuperation center here and build it. Later, because of the rugged mountain road, he gave up this plan unconditionally. Finally, it was handed over to the provincial revolutionary Committee at that time, and an archive was built in August 1971, hence the name 71.8. 71.8 The database is divided into three areas: the first area is a general archive, which once stored the files of the first to fourth population censuses in Jiangsu Province. Now it is a quality education base for primary and middle school students in Jiangsu Province, a model airplane training base in Jiangsu Province and an off-campus practice base of Nanjing Agricultural University, which are jointly listed by Nanjing Education Bureau, Gulou Education Bureau and Huai 'an Education Bureau. There are 511 students in one-time reception. Through zero-distance contact with nature, teenagers let them feel and experience nature, and learn the sentiments of students in popular science, knowledge of nature and Tao Zhi that they can't learn in class. The second district is the senior cadre archives database of 71.8 libraries in that year. That is, the archives of senior cadres in Jiangsu Province at that time. Now it has been converted into a three-star hotel Tieshan Temple Forest Resort, covering rooms, restaurants and conference centers that can accommodate 211 tourists. The third district is the gold reserve of 71.8 storehouses in those years. Tieshan Temple is located in the low mountain and hilly area of basalt in the Dabie Mountains. The elevation is mostly around 111 meters, with the highest point of 196.6 meters. The mountainside is steep, the hilltop is wide and flat, the gully is flat and the mountain is continuous, showing a large area of overall distribution. Tian Quan Lake, with an area of 911 hectares, seeps into the area from north to south, forming an extremely special microclimate. The annual average temperature is 14.9 degrees, which is 1.2 degrees higher than the average temperature in the county. The active accumulated temperature above zero is 5451 degrees, which is 111 degrees higher than the average temperature in the county. The annual average precipitation is more than 1151 mm, which is 55 mm more than the average precipitation in the county. Therefore, the area is rich in wild vegetation resources. Among all the 15 distribution types of seed plants in China, Tieshan Temple accounts for 14 types (except the distribution type in Central Asia). Woody plants: The forest distribution in Tieshan Temple National Forest Park belongs to the warm temperate zone-subtropical forest community type area. Because of the high mountain temperature and high precipitation, and surrounded by mountains, the human impact is small, and basically a good ecological environment is preserved. Mainly secondary broad-leaved forest, with a small area of artificial forest, rich in tree species resources, showing an obvious transition from the northern warm zone to the subtropical zone. There are 533 species of higher species in the region, including more than 291 species of woody plants belonging to 74 families, mainly including Dalbergia odorifera, Robinia pseudoacacia, Quercus, Pistacia chinensis, sumac, pine, cypress, Bambusa bambusa and Phyllostachys pubescens. Obviously, there is a tree species in the transitional zone, with Xuzhou as the southern edge, and flowers and trees with feather leaves, camphor trees with red veins and ear tea as the boundary, which is not recorded in Jiangbei. It is not only distributed in the nature reserve, but also grows well. The upper tree species are oak, Robinia pseudoacacia, sumac, pine, etc. Middle-level tree species include Dalbergia odorifera, Calligonum angustifolia, Bovis Seu Bubali, Platycladus macrophylla, Tilia lindleyana, etc. There are Cinnamomum camphora and Zanthoxylum bungeanum in Jiangsu and Zhejiang in the lower layer, and Ye Huo, Corolla wood and Zanthoxylum nitidum in the stratum. There are also many fossil tree species growing in the area, such as papaya, ginkgo, snow willow, etc. According to expert appraisal, they have been flourishing for hundreds or even thousands of years, and they are still thriving.
Animal, bird and beast resources: Tieshan Temple Nature Reserve is formed due to the special ecological environment. There are more than 41 species of wild animal resources in more than 21 families, including wolves, badgers, foxes and hedgehogs, among which river muntjac, foxes, falcons and cranes are among them, and many of them are national protected birds. Like ring-necked pheasants, birthday bands, thrush, starling and other areas can be seen everywhere, and there are 13 kinds of snakes in the area; Due to the special geographical environment in this area, there are 258 species of insects belonging to 12 orders, more than 31 families, mainly Lepidoptera and Coleoptera, among which Papilio is a national protected insect. Tieshan Temple, with its special geographical location and good ecological environment, is unique in northern Jiangsu, a good place for many animals and plants to live and multiply, and an ideal place for universities and scientific research departments to use natural animal and plant gene banks for teaching and scientific investigation.
