Count champaud's room
Henri de Bourbon (1820- 1883), the grandson of Charles X and the heir to the French throne, was a relatively unknown figure in the19th century. From 1830, he spent most of his life in exile.
187 1 year, the royalist party became the majority in parliament. The last Earl of immediate successor Chambord of the Bourbon family is only one step away from the throne. The celebration is already in preparation. Will France return to the path of constitutional monarchy? The crown prince insisted on using the white flag, but some people in France and even the royalist camp preferred the tricolor flag. It was at this time that France finally chose the road of * * * and the country. Henry, called "miracle child" by the poet Lamartin (1820), has always been closely linked with the stormy French history.
Even in exile in Britain, Austria or Italy, the crown prince always has hope for restoration. The political plan he built in his life is only partially reflected in a large number of letters and declarations. Although others are not in France, they are everywhere because of the propaganda of their supporters. Henry's distant figure, even after his death, remains in the orthodox impression. As Emmanuel de Waresquiel described it, he used his life to interpret a kind of "desperate romanticism".
The Earl's Room of Chamberlain reproduces the life of the last heir of the Bourbon family, not only reviewing a person's history, but also recreating a decisive political moment in the19th century. These newly opened spaces once again show Xiangbo's rich collection of paintings, artworks and sculptures. These rooms also show the history of the19th century box and its parks. As one of the earliest buildings on the list of historical sites in France, the box now shows all this to the public without reservation.
18th century kitchen area
The restoration of the kitchen area named "de Polignac" is based on the research done in 2006. The restoration work was completed in 2006 by Patrick Ponsot, chief architect of French National Historic Sites.
The kitchen area, located on the first floor of the main tower of the castle, is called "Dieudonné" (meaning "a gift from God"). The space consists of a hall of about 80 square meters and several small annex rooms, which are not open to the public at present. Since 1782, the Royal Racecourse has raised hundreds of horses in Xiangbaobao, and the kitchen area was developed at this stage. Marquis Polinik, the manager of the horse farm, lived in the castle at that time. /kloc-the old kitchen in the 0/7th century (Louis XIV period) was originally located near the city wall, and the place was given to the stables. The catering service was placed on the first floor of the main tower of the castle.
Many kitchen relics that can be seen today will be restored: a big chimney above the lime vent in the main hall, a mechanical device connected with a bread stove and a rotating barbecue skewer, a dim sum stove in a small room used as an office, a washbasin, cloth pieces left in an arched food storage room, and stone relics of an old dishwashing pool.
The image data (especially design drawings) and documents preserved so far have also assisted the functional recovery of each room. At the end of 18, the kitchen area consisted of a big kitchen, a wine cellar, an office, a food storage room (also called "fruit storage room") and a bread baking room.
The restoration, development and opening up of this area will enable tourists to have a deeper understanding of the daily life of castle residents.
