Then we came to Chishan Fahua Academy, a symbol of China, Japan and Han Youyi. Fahua Academy was built by Zhang, a native of Silla (present-day Korea). Hokkeji is one of the largest Buddhist temples in Jiaodong in Tang Dynasty. Zhang Memorial Tower is located at the top of Lotus Mountain in Chishan. Two square pillars symbolize China and South Korea, and the connection above symbolizes the eternal friendship between the people of China and South Korea. Yuanren, a post-Japanese monk, went to Chishan in Shidao for two years and nine months, and wrote the Journey of Seeking Dharma in the Tang Dynasty, which is known as one of the three major travel notes in the East. It is not only a glorious historical document in the history of Sino-Japanese cultural diplomacy, but also an immortal monument in the history of world cultural relations.
