Due to major mistakes in the transportation and storage of fresh chicken, more than 700 KFC stores in Britain were once affected and forced to temporarily close down.

In a statement, KFC said, "We don't want to endanger the quality of our products, so the shortage of distribution raw materials forced some of our stores to close, and the menu options provided by the stores that continue to operate are limited ... We apologize for the trouble caused to customers."

KFC's fast food is mainly fried chicken, with more than 8000 stores in 120 countries and regions. According to the data of Forbes biweekly, KFC is the second largest fast food company in the world after McDonald's. The first KFC fast food restaurant opened on 1952.
