As of March 2022, there are more than 50 Michelin restaurants in China I***.

The only Michelin three-starred restaurant is Tang Court, located in Shanghai, which was named three Michelin stars overnight, the first three-starred restaurant in China, but most people think there's still a big gap between Tang Court Shanghai and Tang Court Hong Kong.

One-star restaurants are more, including Bo Shanghai, Da Dong location in the Ring Road Plaza store, Da Dong sea cucumber store location is Yue Yang Plaza, Fu and Hui, Su Zhe General Association, Jean Georges, Jin Xuan, the old Qian Cup, the old Zheng Xing, Nan Lu Zhe Li location is Sichuan Middle Road, Liyuan location is Ring Road Plaza, Liyuan location is the IFC, Mrs. Goose Xinzhuang store and so on.

There are also a lot of two-star restaurants, including 8 1/2 Otto de Mezzo Bombana, Xiyue 8, Royal Baoxuan, Joel Robson Gourmet Place, Yat Long Court, Yongfu Hui and so on.

Specialties of Michelin restaurants in China:

Hong Kong and Macau are where East meets West, and where food and shopping meet. Their cuisine is rooted in Cantonese cuisine, which is a blend of Western ingredients, flavors and cooking styles, boldly creating Cantonese cuisine with local characteristics of the SAR. Foreign cuisine in the SAR is predominantly European.
