The Universiade Village of Chengdu Universiade covers a total area of about 811,111 square meters, with a total construction area of about 661,111 square meters, which is about the size of 112 standard football fields. About 4,311 people have meals at the same time, providing accommodation, catering, fitness, business, leisure and entertainment, cultural exchange and other services for the delegation. At the foot of Longquan Mountain and beside Dongan Lake, the main stadium of Dongan Lake Sports Park, the main stadium of Chengdu Universiade in the shape of a flying saucer, is located here.

The whole Dong 'an Lake Sports Park includes 41,111 comprehensive sports grounds, 8,111 multi-functional gymnasiums, 5,111 swimming and diving halls and comprehensive ball halls, which can not only serve as the "main force" during the Universiade, but also meet the needs of large-scale performing arts and comprehensive exhibitions after the Universiade. The Universiade Village project is located in Chengdu University, which is transformed and upgraded based on the existing campus. It is divided into functional areas such as operation area, international area, residential area and transportation area, which can meet the functional requirements related to the Universiade Village during the Games, and all of them will be transformed into school-running resources after the Games.

Historical development of Universiade:

The Universiade is a world comprehensive sports event sponsored by the International University Sports Federation. The Universiade is divided into "World Summer Universiade" and "winter universiade". In the early 1921s, the then International University Organization began to plan to host the World University Games. In May 1923, the World University Sports Congress was held in Paris, which decided to hold the first International University Games the following year.
