The story of Romantic Death:
In the 1921s, Japan secretly sent a large number of spies to lurk in Shanghai for the war of aggression against China, including the brother-in-law Watanabe of the gang boss Mr. Lu. A large number of aspiring progressives, such as Mr. Lao Wu and Mr. Lu's coachman, competed with these Japanese aggressors and traitors around them.
The story revolves around Mr. Lu, who, as an all-powerful gangster in Shanghai, was involved in an assassination plot, and his brothers and cronies around him were all involved. He had to make difficult choices between the righteousness of his home country and brotherhood, but also deal with emotional entanglements with social butterfly and dancing girl.
The ending of Romance:
On the eve of the end of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, Mr. Lu found Xiao Liu who was imprisoned and prepared to go to Luzon Island with her. In the final battle, Watanabe was killed by Xiao Liu, a socialite, and Xiao Liu disappeared. In 1949, Mr. Lu went to Hong Kong alone and disappeared from the scene.
