Saipan is located at 15 degrees north latitude and 13 minutes east longitude, with an area of about 1 15 square kilometers. Saipan is long and narrow from north to south, about 19 km long from north to south and about 9 km wide from east to west. Saipan is a limestone island surrounded by coral reefs and has beautiful Pacific island scenery. The western part of Saipan is relatively flat, and most of the population lives here. Mount Taipo, 475 meters high, is the highest mountain on the island.
The Northern Mariana Islands are composed of 14 islands, just like a string of bright pearls scattered in the western Pacific Ocean. Except for Tianning and Tarot in Saipan, which have permanent populations and have been developed as tourist destinations, most other islands are uninhabited. Mariana Trench, the deepest11034m, is located about 200km east of the Northern Mariana Islands.
Tiannian Tianning
Tianning is located about 9 kilometers southwest of Saipan, with an area of about 10 1 square kilometer, facing Saipan across the sea. Tianning's terrain is relatively flat, belonging to Ma Pingchuan.
Rotaro Tower
Rhoda Island is located about 135km southwest of Saipan, covering an area of about 85km2. It is the southernmost island of the Northern Mariana Islands, and is also called "the Island of Friendship" because of its lush original vegetation.
